Emma Stone is an American actress and singer born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She began her acting career in the reality talent show In Search of the New Partridge Family, wherein she won the role of Laurie Partridge. She soon starred in the series’ pilot episode, and soon moved over to do other television shows such as Medium, Lucky Louie, and Malcolm in the Middle.

Later on Emma Stone landed a regular role in the Fox drama, Drive, which was followed by her first feature film, Superbad. She played the character of Jules, the girl whom lead character Seth (played by Jonah Hill) fell in love with.

In 2008, Emma Stone starred in films such as The Rocker and The House Bunny. To be able to do her role in The Rocker, she learnt to play the bass guitar. Emma Stone was also able to work with actors such as Anna Faris and Colin Hanks, and singer Katherine McPhee. Among her recent projects include Ghosts of Girlfriends Past starring Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey. Emma Stone is currently doing the upcoming film Paper Man which stars Jeff Daniels, Ryan Reynolds and Lisa Kudrow. She is also about to star in the horror-comedy flick, Zombieland and Easy A, this time co-starring Amanda Bynes.

Prior to acting, Emma Stone attended the Sequoya Elementary School and studied at Cocopah Middle School. She appeared in various stage productions in her schools, and joined the Valley Youth Theatre. Among the productions she starred in while in the Valley Youth Theatre include Alice in Wonderland, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Little Mermaid, and Honk!

She attended the Xavier College Preparatory as a freshman for one semester.
